| Comments: | FAI Declared triangle 70 odd km - same as Carls last year. Weak to start, got a nice climb over the castle, which we got to base with. (Carl and i) Then big indescision but we decided to go for the triangle. bimbled to the first turnpoint, but at that point we should have changed the course and gone into the hills as opposed to going onto the cheshire planes. Had quite a good run to the second turnpoint, but unfortunately the sea breeze had made it all blue and stopped the return leg home. Shame we didnt get in, but awesome flying anyway, also, nice to fly and land with one of the top 3 pilots in the country. |
