| Comments: | A lively SWly so the Gyrn wasn't really the right hill, but its close. Too rough for the best part of the day so lots of banter on the hill.Me and Malc walked up to the trig and launched at 3pm.Straight into lively air, climbed out, dithered, then went on glide, very sinky, just made sunny ground and re-found Malc circling with sailplane. Lost him again other side of Chirk as he headed towards Oswestry and I went on a hopeful glide along the Dee. I got a bit fixated on Crewe and was hoping for another stepping stone. Dream on. First XC in ages and great crack, thanks to the lady who gave me a lift all the way home. |
