Comments:Strong cold wind on TO on arrival. Dodogy took off and got battered before going over the back. The rest of us followed when the wind eased off. Tho late the sky looked good. As it was late I took the first real climb and drifted over the back with Malc and CLive. Nasher and Matt were a cloud ahead.A slow climb almost to base left me half way across the vale of Clwyd. Malc was above and CLive below.I headed for Denbigh and after a bit of searching found a slow climb to base at 4300ft.By now I had lost sight of everyone.Heading downwind would have taken me due West and in to the boonies so I tracked slightly cross wind and picked up a bit of sea breeze convergence. It was late and the sky was getting weak. the sea breeze had undercut me and so I glided to the nearest village with a pub, and rang my dear wife with offers of a meal if I could be rescued...I was rescued!Unusual day. Learnt a bit more about the area. What a great start to the season. Hope everyone else landed OK!Keith
