| Comments: | Clouds finally started letting some sun to the ground early afternoon. Found first thermal over hill-fort upwind of Jubilee Tower but only to 410ft ATO. Time to explore northwards! Only other boost came in a well-formed bowl just before the crossing to Moel Arthur. Nice flat Moel Arthur brow for landing. 2 1/2 hours and 2 rubbed-raw toes to walk/crawl back! |
