| Comments: | Arrived with Stu lloyd to find the hill deserted, and rather windy. Sat at lower TO and eventually wind eased t allow us to TO . Dodgy and Jack had also arrived.No sun on the groundand a damp ground meant that the thermals were weak and disorganised (a familiar feeling!) Dodgy lost patience and went over the back with a weak climb which dossapeared immediately behind the hill.The rest of us landed and after eating and drinking our way through Jackie usaul feast we were forced to fly. A little sun on the ground gave enought to kick a few T\'s off and I left to wander around and eventualy land at Llay.........could have gone further but track (as ever ) was straight to Hawarden!Well done Simon who arrived shortly after to catch the sun and a respectable XC! |
