| Comments: | Wind went a bit off to the S, but Jerry started pushing out front into decent lift. Following him, I found a core going up reasonably well & drifted back with it. Saw Jerry leave overhead & glide towards the quarry. Pushed back towards the hill to top up, then circled back with it. Hit sink in front of the quarry where Jerry was climbing out, but all the quarry lift was gone by the time I got there. The Treuddyn Magnet then kicked in (must be something to do with those power lines!), & we both landed in the same field in the boonies. Summary: Lovely summer XC. |
