| Comments: | Took off into a NNE/NE wind at Llangollen and bolted for the east facing wooded slope (along which runs the road down to town). Had seen Dave Edwards head off, and two othrs were working the lift. Soon found good lift and went with it to fly overhead Glyn Cerriog where was able to top up a couple of hundred feet. I tweet or two from the vario just SE of Llanarmon DC but not enought to risk going further into the boonies. Landed a couple of fields up the valley behind the West Arms. A pleasent morning jaunt! |
